01Every shipment is insured, and any exception is agreed in writing with the buyer before it sails. Damage in transit is claimed against the cargo policy.02Factory warranty, managed by us. The warranty is the manufacturer’s and they honour it — we run the claim from the report to the replacement.03Checked before it sails. Shipments are verified against specification at the factory, and we tell you in writing when a batch ships without inspection.
On the ground in China
We do not buy at a distance.
Sourcing, negotiation and pre-shipment inspection are handled by our own agent in Shanghai.
It works on commission, under a written agency agreement.
It visits the factories, negotiates in Mandarin on our behalf and verifies the goods before they are loaded.
Studies and project development
Before anything is bought, someone has to size it.
Sourcing is only half the work. Our charter also covers market studies and industrial project development.
That is where a purchase order stops being a guess.
